MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Lincoln, a town of New Mexico lost in the desert has known a moment of glory which in addition is part of the legend of the West: the July 14, 1881, Billy the Kid was killed by Pat Garrett, sheriff of Lincoln. In 2004, Sheriff Tom Sullivan decides to open an investigation to determine whether this way actually was Billy who died or if, as persistent rumors, the bandit peacefully ended his life in a village in Texas with a new identity. The purpose of Anne Feinsilber not do scientific research but reflects in this documentary about the fate of the controversial fatal Western hero, establishing an affinity between Arthur Rimbaud and also the gunman. To do so, almost lyrical mixture through an imaginary dialogue with Billy the Kid, extracts from two notable films on the bandit, archival photos and conversations with residents of New Mexico.
