MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

The teenager Lucien, who aspires to be a film director, has arranged with friends a film crew. The group is hoping to make a trip to Africa to shoot a documentary. However, it seems that Lucien and his friends are really prepared to face life and its problems as mature people. Theirs is to alternate theater classes with jazz bars and cafes. Lucien, too, will have to overcome some family problems to assume the responsibilities of an adult.
