MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1995 film?

Geri, young teenager, stands out as a great concert thanks to the passion for music that it woke her adoptive father, former Vietnam fighter. The father, Laird Riordan, suffer enormous consequences of war, and alcohol plays havoc with him. Geri loves him, but feels the need to know their biological parents. Laird's sudden death and the discovery of a box with a clear photograph over the search for origins, beginning in the redwood forest.
