MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2004 film?

In the 70s, when in Brazil ruled by a military dictatorship, many political prisoners were taken to the Penitentiary Big Island, off the coast of Rio de Janeiro. As political prisoners, bank robbers were under the National Security Act, and both sides were serving their sentences in the same hall. The meeting of these two worlds is an important part of the history of violence that the country faces today. " Almost Brothers " shows how this relationship unfolds and details of the dispute between the parties. Between that disagreement and learning, born Comando Vermelho, which subsequently become the dominate drug trafficking in Brazil. Through two characters, Michael, a young intellectual middle class, the son of a congressman, who is imprisoned for political reasons, and George, son of a samba dancer, who is the author of small round and then be one of the leaders the Comando Vermelho, the piece tells the story cinematográgica Brazilian 50s, 70s and today.
