MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

Pete Kelly is a trumpeter who plays jazz with his band, known as " Pete Kelly and his Big Seven " in a local Kansas City. One day Frank McCarg there appears a scumbag who claims to be her manager in exchange for 25 % of the profits and his girlfriend Rose sing into the computer. After refusing, Frank kills one of Pete's friends, so it is decided to accept their conditions, hoping to have in the future a chance to get back at him.
