MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2002 film?

In 1958, after the death of Pius XII, the old Cardinal Angelo Roncalli, Patriarch of Venice, travels to Rome for the conclave that must elect a new pope, conclave dominated by all kinds of political maneuvering. Indeed, once at the Vatican, astonished to attend Roncalli bitter confrontation between church factions. During the conclave are uncovered extraordinary aspects of the past of the old Cardinal: spiritual and financial support to a team of workers on strike, when he was a young priest, his assists Bulgarian Orthodox Christians, when he was stationed in that country ; his skillful negotiations with Nazi ambassador Istanbul to save Jewish prisoners a train when he was Vatican policy in Turkey, its fine diplomatic skills to prevent De Gaulle repudiate thirty bishops who had supported the Vichy regime.
