MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1972 film?

A humble hermit teaches the alphabet to children playing in their neighborhood and they do not behave kindly with him. When you get to the letter ' p', a child offers the word ' Pelican '. The old man did not know this beautiful bird. When he finally decides to go to the park to see, something wonderful happens. It does not feel more a sparrow dropped.
