MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1987 film?

Based on three short stories by Chekhov, tells the unhappy love life an Italian, Romano Patroni, tells a Russian gentleman aboard a boat. Patroni, despite his poor background, manages to finish a degree in architecture and is home to a rich heiress. Some years later, at a spa called Anna, a Russian teenager who falls in love and pursued throughout Russia. History of love frustrated and lost illusions.
