Based on the book by José Cândido de Carvalho, " O Coronel eo Lobisomem " set in the early twentieth century, is the legend of Ponciano de Azeredo Furtado, military rank colonel and landowner by right of inheritance, Pernambuco Nogueira fighting his foster brother, to preserve the lands of the Fazenda Sobradinho and win the heart of the beloved cousin Smaragdine. To win that battle, narrated by himself, faces huge beasts Ponciano, experience the bohemian life in the town, fighting evildoers usurers and seduces maidens anxious and will use all her wiles to try to disenchant spectra.
