MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

The accelerated global warming has caused a separation between high and low layers of the atmosphere and causes friction between the two powerful tornadoes and thunderstorms terrifying a magnitude never before seen on the face of the Earth. Numerous tornadoes converge on the town, spreading fear in its wake, devastating and unpredictable. Similar to Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a giant jet stream has focused on Manhattan. To cope with the disaster, the alacalde James Lawrence and his wife, Cassie meteorologist should forget her marital problems and seek together a way to appease the fury of tornadoes. No plans for an end to the cycle of storms. Jim and Cassie must join forces to rescue the city in 24 hours also would cease to exist.
