MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1952 film?

The film begins in 1814, in France, with Roger de Tainchebraye on the battlefield, being rescued in combat to be seriously injured with his face smashed. It will heal slowly leading a life of seclusion and with the help of Dr. Marchal. The gentleman and hero Roger soon recovers and decides to pursue what he knows best: seduce every young woman who crosses his path, far from fleeing their appearance seem to find fascinating the enigmatic man who is behind the mask leather where your nose is only leather. When uncovers his injuries to the woman he really loves, Judith, discover the feelings of the girl towards him.
