MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Truman Gates leaves his home in the Appalachians to become Chicago police officer. After the murder of his brother at the hands of a gangster, Truman expected to justice through legal channels. However, when his older brother comes to town predisposed to apply the law of retaliation, Truman will be faced with a difficult dilemma, because their respect for the law is at odds with the desire for revenge of his family. This film is a remake of Next of Kin (1984), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
