MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1951 film?

A white teenager reveals to her boyfriend that she is the daughter of a black woman is rejected shortly thereafter repents and seeks. Rita appears now as a poor black and good heart that has had a marital relationship with a human being, which is born a daughter with very pale skin, almost white, which subsequently denied as mom. She is an artist and one day have to leave painted black to sing in cabaret.
