Morgan is an artist who, influenced by Marxist ideas of his mother, feels the need to rebel against the established social order and against all conventions. But this attitude increasingly move away from reality and gradually shrink serious psychological pathology that leads him to identify with a gorilla, animal that feels very connected. At this point, his wife Leonie for divorce and, while Morgan tries to recover, she has begun to be attracted to another man.
