MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2012 film?
By 1991, during the early stages of the civil war in the remote island of Bougainville, Mr Watts, an extraordinary white man, decides to reopen the doors of the school and teacher practice. His method is to combine reading aloud chapters of Great Expectations, his favorite novel by Charles Dickens, with the participation of the common people who want to share tips on how to survive in their environment. Thus, the makeshift teacher manages to catch the interest of their adolescent students, captivated by the adventures and misadventures of Pip, a young orphan headline the Dickens novel.
