MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2004 film?

The votives are small paintings on metal that is custom ordered to thank miraculous events. Granted Miracles is a documentary about the tradition of votive offerings in Mexico, seen through the artist's work retablero Alfredo Vilchis, who lives in Mexico City and one of the few remaining artists votives on the planet. Vilchis has been painting these altarpieces with one religious sense, artistic and journalistic becoming, in this way, by surrounding planeta.que rapporteur, a historian of miracles, a chronicler of our time. Through Alfredo Vilchis customers the documentary shows the process of ex-voto: from the request of the altarpiece which tells the story of the miracle, through the execution of the painting in the studio of the painter, to be placed in a sanctuary, ending thus its objective.
