MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

On a trip to Africa, a businessman in the world of the show is a huge gorilla ten feet tall, living next to a beautiful teenager who has a pet. The businessman convinces him to go to Hollywood and there has the gorilla as " Mr. Joseph Young of Africa". Gets a great success as a nightclub attraction, but some unscrupulous viewers the gorilla drunk which leads to a series of conflicts. A remake called Mi gran amigo Joe (1998) was made based on this movie.
