The documentary is a tribute to Maria Farias, Afro-Uruguayan dancer, who suffered slavery in the twentieth century. Through the ancient cry of Candombe was able to overcome the pain and humiliation rebel against, making resilience resistance, overcoming grief and contributing to building a caring society. The film deals in Uruguay African culture, African religion and analyzes by eleven witnesses, the consequences of racism today.
