MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

Danny Meehan is a football player who leads a team of inmates in a match against prison guards. Before entering prison, was the captain of the English football team, had fame and money, until you threw it all away. After being accused of rigging a game, was jailed for assault, intoxicated, a police officer. The warden asks for help to reinforce the football team, but the head of the guards, who are not inclined to take orders from a prisoner convinces him to reject the proposal. Danny then decides to create his own team. Briton Barry Skolnick, from the world of advertising, made his directorial debut with this remake of the piece '' The Yard '' cinematográgica starring Burt Reynolds and directed in 1974 by Robert Aldrich. For this film, the director had the producer Matthew Vaughn, responsible for hits " Lock, Stock and Natch " and '' Snatch, pigs and diamonds .''.
