MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1986 film?

Johannes killed his wife in a fit of passion for many years, and is now aged and is trying to adjust to life abroad. Every sound you hear in his small apartment sounds reminds his years in prison. He struggles to communicate his feelings about his crime to his mother and daughter, but never achieved a breakthrough. Others seem more sympathetic, and there is some hope that some time later, Johannes and not feel so broken.
