MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle: the star attraction of New York's Central Park Zoo. As his best friends Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the Hippo, Alex has spent his entire life in captivity ignorant happy, well fed and in a cage with excellent views of the park. Not content with his life, Marty is driven by curiosity and with help of some prodigious penguins, escapes from the zoo for planet, with the intention of returning before daylight. Alex, Melman and Gloria discover their escape and decide to go and look before someone realizes his disappearance. Even in a city like New York, it does draw attention to see a lion, a giraffe and a hippo walk down the street and riding the subway. The three friends manage to find Marty in Central Station, but before they can return to the zoo loscapturan and shipped off to Africa. The penguins sabotage the cruise and the four friends are on a beach in the exotic island of Madagascar. These native New Yorkers must learn to survive in the wild, it is then when you understand the meaning of the phrase "the world is a jungle out there " .. This movie is part of the Madagascar trilogy (2005, 2008, 2012).
