MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

There never was a man in the life of Josephine Alibrandi. In his senior year in high school, there are three. Josephine's father who left when his mom was a young pregnant woman, returns to the city becoming more involved in the life of his daughter. John Barton, polished, rich and intended to law school, is romantically interested in Josephine. And Jacob Coote is a working-class guy, good looking, Josephine thrilling in a way she never thought possible. Framed in the context of Sydney, Australia, and a vibrant community italoaustraliana, this emotionally charged film shows the struggle of a feisty heroine to control the pressures of school, family and friends, while at the same time know itself.
