MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

In England, running the 50s, the clumsy Derek Bentley joins a group of petty criminals led by Chris Craig, a teenager who is undone by American gangster films. The friendship that develops between the two leads them toward genuine involvement in a case in which the jury convicted Derek Bentley death for the murder of a police officer at gunpoint. The Bentley case dented England's social consciousness by questioning the rationale for the death penalty.
