MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

France, 1922. On his deathbed, the writer Marcel Proust observed pictures of the characters who have populated his life. Those pictures bring back memories from which reconstructs his life and his social environment. On this trip through memory, real people become confused with the characters of his novels. But little by little, imposes fiction to reality, and the writer concludes that only the protagonists of his works have succeeded in giving a meaning to his life.
