MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

In an undefined time between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, against the backdrop of the unchanging nature of the Val di Non, the people of the mountain villages rely on the care of Zappina, a young peasant woman who lives with her goat and knows the medicinal herbs and resources of the forest. For the milk of her goat, for the decoctions that heal stomach aches, for the advice she dispenses, she wants nothing in return, maybe just the gift of a fruit. A free and generous woman, it doesn't take much for her to end up the victim of the wickedness of the villagers, ready to blame her for the illnesses and misfortunes that happen to them. When two gendarmes with weapons knock on her door, the love of Silvanel, the hunter, or the desperate cry of a friend is worth nothing; for Zappina the trial for "proven witchcraft" opens.
