Based on a novel that has even sold more than 500,000 copies in Indonesia, " The Rainbow Troops " tells the chronicle of an idealistic teacher plus students, the children of the working poor in an island rich in natural resources. The threat hanging over the school to the possibility that it is closed, however on the other hand the teachers and their students will fight to gain the respect of the people.
