MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

After meeting up again at the end of the Spanish Civil War, Mario, a gay singer, his friend John, pianist, and his girlfriend Pepita, also singing, unite in a musical dedicated to Andalusian couplet make them well known and will reap success throughout the Spanish geography. His brilliant career also holds unpleasant moments, artistic envy, jealousy between the couple, conspiracies Pepa's mother to separate the couple and their daughter camelándose entrepreneurs succeed, especially when Pepita started her acting career with the Dora name Moran. Besides the misgivings he had in society postwar conservative and intolerant towards lifestyle of Mario and his ideas, are used by a marquis who had fallen for him to be rejected by Mario to take revenge and to bind it to exile, definitively separating friends.
