MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Homer, a renowned Spanish painter living in Mexico is, at age 48, he inherited from his father a strange blindness characterized by gradually losing the three colors of light: red, green and blue to finally be submerged in a white blindness. Follower of a Chinese poem entitled destination nao China, Homero understands that fate exists but resists to lose what has given meaning to his life: art and beauty. In trying to stay connected to the world while his blindness progresses, he adopts a stray dog, visits prostitutes and falls in love with Irma, a nun who helps him memorize texts to pretend his blind father can continue reading. In parallel, Mei, a young woman of 17, arrives at an old train station where it has established a whorehouse in La nao de China. Mei befriends the prostitutes and falls for a young clerk in a nearby city. Before leaving the US, his mom got him a job as a maid in a brothel in exchange for room and board for her and her grandparents. At night Mei raises moths to recreate them as small masterpieces of tulle and lace selling in exchange for some cash. Homero and Mei fight to escape from exile that appear to have been convicted, one in blindness and the other in a brothel while their lives are touched but never cross. When Homer is about to be completely blind, a taxi driver offers to take him to a Chinese brothel where women are exceptional. Thus, by chance or fate, Homer reaches of China's ship and the lives of Mei and Homer eventually found in a room in the Mexican desert ....
