MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1994 film?

The night time of August 24, 1572, is recognized as the Massacre of St. Bartholomew. In France a religious war is raging. To be able to impose comfort a forced wedding is arranged between Margot de Valois, sister of immature Catholic King Charles IX, and also the Hugenot King Henri of Navarre. Catherine of Medici keeps the woman behind-the-scenes power by buying assaults, poisonings, and instigations to incest.
