This is the chronicle of a Cairo family and clan of women where the art of dance is transmitted from mother to daughter since time immemorial. The matriarch leads to both family and business, sometimes with patience, though almost always with a heavy hand. The family meeting is a small apartment where constantly emerge complaints and pleas of daughters. There, the chaos, fear and discussions also leave room for tenderness, vulnerability and hope for a better life. The raw beauty triumphs over harsh reality.
