MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2016 film?

Nach vielen Jahren trifft Paul Sneijder seine Tochter Marie wieder. Er lädt sie in ein teures Restaurant in einem Wolkenkratzer ein. Als sie dieses verlassen, stürzt der Fahrstuhl ab. Monate später erwacht Paul aus einem Koma und muss nun begreifen, dass er der einzige Überlebende dieses tragischen Unfalls ist. Er ist ein physisch und psychisch gebrochener Mann. Die Trauer um die Tochter wird durch seine Schuldgefühle ins Unerträgliche gesteigert. Als infolge des Unfalls ein maximaler Geldwert für den Tod seiner Tochter erstritten werden soll, bäumt er sich auf. Er stellt sich gegen seine Frau Anna, die mit dem Anwalt Cudmore den Profitgedanken zur Richtschnur ihres Handelns macht. Mit dem Geld aus dem Prozess soll den beiden Söhnen die Zukunft gesichert werden. Paul sucht sich einen Job als Hundeausführer. Sein neuer Arbeitgeber und der Anwalt des Fahrstuhlherstellers Wagner-Leblond sind die Einzigen, die ihn verstehen und ihm die Kraft geben, ein neues Leben zu beginnen.
