MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2018 film?

In 1877, Giovanni Bovara, the new primary inspector of mills, is sent back from Genoa to his indigenous town Vigata, in Sicily, in which he could be tasked with all the investigation of unlawful tasks brought on by an unjust taxation on milling, dealing with the dialectal and cultural barriers of post-unification Italy. He discovers the presence of a clandestine mill and an ingenious system by which the millers are kept liberated to evade the taxation, becoming involved, over time, in one thing much greater.
