The Countess de Castiglione was considered the most beautiful woman in the world. One of the most famous lovers of Napoleon III. She was known for her graciousness and extravagant in dress entries made in the imperial court. With her pale skin, delicate, oval face, long wavy hair, eyes that constantly changed color from green to blue- violet eccentric, attracting and seducing the most important and influential men of state. He went to Paris at age 19 because his cousin Cavour, prime minister of King Victor Emmanuel II of Sardinia and Piedmont, the push to conquer Louis Napoleon III, for the purpose of supporting the sovereign consegescapar French Piedmontese cause.
