MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

Adapted from the novel by Eduardo Mendoza. It's set in the period set between the two world fairs in Barcelona when the town was a hotbed of political unrest and union gangsterism and anarchism had terrorized the population. Shows spectacular social climb Onofre, a human ambitious and unscrupulous, who arrives in Barcelona, still very young, in search of fortune. There he meets Delphine, one anarchist who helps you make a living. But little by little, into the world of the Mafia.
