MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1979 film?

Towards the end of 1800, a group of prisoners, escaped from a prison, shipwrecked and reached the coast of a mysterious island, it does not appear on maps. In the interior of the island, strange creatures kill all who approach the lagoons or water wells. Inmates are about to die of thirst and hunger, when the providential meeting with a lovely lady, who arrives on horseback, leads to the only home on the island, and belongs to the husband of the lady, strange man , called Rackhman. This gives hospitality to the inmates, and at home and throughout the island hides a secret that everyone knows, unless prisoners. One night one of the inmates is killed by a mysterious black creature comes out of the water.
