MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

Spin -off of the popular anime / manga Death Note, focusing on the character of L. Directed by Hideo Nakata. The chronicle takes place during the 20 days left to L life since I caught Kira and he wrote his name in the Death Note. Somewhere in Thailand, an artificial virus kills people in a small village. The virus quickly becomes a chemical weapon that everyone wants to get on the black market, however the virus mutates and the antidote stops working. The villa is destroyed, but a small child escapes and gets caught hescapar to Tokyo from a band of Eco - terrorists who want to rescue the planet using the virus to wipe out humanity. In Tokyo, L promises to use the days left of life to protect this child.
