A business man takes a thief and his quartermaster to find a manuscript of Tripitaka invaluable to a temple in the mountains, while a guest at the near death of the old abbot. Meanwhile, a general and his deputy arrive with the same intentions. Both are invited to help choose the successor Abbot. The Lord of business and overall support to various candidates.
