MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1948 film?

When the husband returns from the war Tokiko, is discovered with a tragic situation: his wife has had to engage in prostitution in addition to thus pay the expenses of the hospital and also care for her sick child. History of the postwar Japanese representative: when combatants returning home, they could not even imagine the tremendous sacrifices they had to make their families to survive in his absence.
