MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

In 1946, after the Second World War, many Japanese women were still living under the traditions and conventions of the time fuedal. Hiroko Hosokawa, a lawyer, defends Mrs. Asakura, who drowned her son after her husband died in misery after an accident.
