MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

United States, early twentieth century. Andrew and Veronica are known following an accident that triggers including a hatred that increases when force Andrew to hire Veronica as a saleswoman in Oberkugen music store. What they ignore is that while both argue and fight constantly throughout the day, a relationship innocent, romantic and completely anonymous during the night, through the mail.
