MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Film director Franco Elica falls into despair after the wedding of his daughter with a fervent Catholic. When asked to do another version of " I Promessi Sposi " by Alessandro Manzoni, takes refuge in a small Sicilian village where he meets the most colorful characters: a human being who makes his living shooting weddings, a film director who fakes his own death to reach finally the elusive fame, and worship and noble Prince Ferdinando Gravina di Palagonia.
