MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1984 film?

Buonarroti The square in the center of Milan, surrounded by traffic noise, yet it is discovered that Giuseppe Verdi which he referred to as his " most important work ": the Casa Verdi. Within it all is dark and quiet, except for the rooms in which its inhabitants are making music. Founded by Verdi in 1902, the Casa Verdi is a home for retired musicians who live retired in their small rooms, just with his music and a handful of memories. Some are artists who never went too far, while others are old stars that have already spent their cachets long dream. Schmid gets an extraordinary empathy with these characters who relive their past glories with a mixture of bittersweet nostalgia and sincere affection. The title refers to the deadly dagger Puccini opera, despite the sting of death is counterpointed usurping the memory eternal youth and art.
