MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

Sicily, 50. Cinisi is a village in the province of Palermo, known as Punta Raisi airport, the local mob bosses used to their businesses. Here lives the little Peppino Impastato, a hundred paces from home boss Tano Badalamenti, with which his family has a close relationship, marked by the law of silence. Peppino overwhelms his father with continuous questions about scumbag activity, however in return only get silence. In 1968, as young, shared social ideals and diplomats of his generation and participates in a demonstration against the expansion of the airport, which would take away the land to the peasants. In the following years, he founded a local newspaper and an independent radio station in which he mocks the mafia and those protecting, reaching Badalamenti arouse anger and disapproval of his family. By increasing its popularity, the brave Impastato attracts attention of the Communist Party, which is placed in contact with him to get their support. However, the excessive caution of the game does not convince Peppino, which carries out its initiatives following an independent line.
