MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

Berlin, thirties. Christopher Isherwood, a young English writer, known for funny singer Sally Bowles, which is even penniless. The two begin a strange friendship, in which she has a great time gastándole all kinds of jokes. However, Christopher acts as a camera, with impassive and also scrutinizes records Sally behavior, thinking about his future literary. But the situation changes abruptly with the arrival of Nazism. Film adaptation of the play by John Van Druten, which was later recovered by Bob Fosse in the musical "Cabaret ". Thus, the great Julie Harris was the first Sally Bowles in the big screen, which later also embody Liza Minnelli.
