MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Marcus lives with her grandmother Lucy, as his father died and his mother is in jail. When he discovers the real reason her mother is serving, his ideals will come up. The love for Melena be an escape. But her father does not approve of the relationship and end up with this accidental crime. Faced with this reality exceeds them, Marcus and decide to escape to free Melena, Drama directed by a teenager of 27 years of the same name as the famous African-American actor.
