MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2003 film?

Two people come into conflict over the ownership of a house in northern California. For Kathy Nicolo, is not only the home of his childhood, but also the last hope left to return to a life he almost lost by his addiction to drugs. When you receive an eviction notice for nonpayment of taxes, stays in the street and can not prevent the home is sold at a bargain price. For the new owner, Massoud Amir Behrani, the house is the embodiment of the American dream that has been pursuing since it left Iran with his family. Former colonel in the Iranian Air Force, Behrani has been forced to work in modest jobs to keep up appearances.
