MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1967 film?

Hono to onna was made the same year as The Affair, the most famous piece of film of Yoshida. On this occasion, the director talks about the inability of a woman to find satisfaction in their family structure tradicionar. The protagonist, Ritsuko, Shingo married to an engine designer. Shingo is unable to help Ritsuko to conceive a child, so this chooses to have artificial insemination. The birth of a son, Takashi, not improving marital relationships. When Sakaguchi, the doctor who performed the artificial insemination, is experiencing problems with his wife Shina, Ritsujo tells that he is the sperm donor is making him fall in love passionately. Finally, there are further complications: Shina Takashi kidnaps and tries to seduce Shingo. The Ritsujo inability to feel erotic attraction toward her husband is shown by the sterility, which is a metaphor for the modern woman, alienated by the sweet and peaceful roles devoted wife and mother.
