" History of the Planet" is an irreverent view of the evolution of history, from the appearance of the first lord to the French Revolution. The Last Supper is captured through the eyes of a tormented waiter. The Roman Empire is more than wildly corrupted DeMille could ever dream of. It disclosed the secrets of the French Revolution. And even Mr. prehistoric tribal rites appear naked.
