MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1948 film?

A Scottish shepherd, whose collie has an aversion to water, doctor deceives the people to buy your dog. This one, named Lassie, will become your best buddy and one of his top aides to pursue his deepest ambition: to turn his young assistant in the doctor who can become his successor.
