MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2007 film?
The movie is founded on a true tale about an Okinawan sansen (3 stringed electric guitar) player named Ryo and his experiences growing up in Okinawa in 1968. Ryo satisfies an American armed forces solider named George, in addition they discover that they will have more similarities than differences. The atmosphere regarding the film is greatly faced with discrimination and prejudice- Okinawans and Japanese (yes there was a difference-big difference actually), United States military and Japanese/Okinawans, officers and enlisted soldiers- and takes place with echoes of this civil legal rights movement lingering inside backdrop.
